Description
Gladstone Vineyard – from the Dakins Road Vineyard, this intensely layered Pinot Noir exudes a harmonious balance between power and elegance. The luscious aromas of red and black bramble berries are lifted by the streaks of pretty florals that are complemented by a savoury minerality. A robust and structured palate finishes with a vibrant, distinguished acidity coupled with silky smooth chocolatey tannins.
WINEMAKER’S NOTES:
A mix of wild and inoculated ferments, however, all ferments were started wild. 37% of this wine is whole-bunch, and maturation for 14 months in the barrel.
